The work featured below is no longer available
Emily Jane Hubbard describes herself as an 'Artist and Maker of Lovely Things'. She graduated last year from Hereford College of Art and we were quickly captivated with her quirky work at New Designers in Islington's Business Design Centre, London. She is an animator and applied artist and we are delighted to be showcasing her animation skills in the gallery with the short film, 'Corky The Parrot'.
We also have for sale a selection of her quirky, delightful characters, which can be seen below. We also have a limited selection of Corky The Parrot DVDs, signed and hand packaged by Emily, which cost only £6 each.

Artist Statement:
"I have a lifelong curiosity with the lives of everyday people, the world around me and that gone before.
I'm drawn to aged, worn and loved surfaces. The aesthetics of mended, fixed, hand me down objects appeal to me. I feel a need to give them a home and patch their holes, regardless of condition or purpose.
Sourcing redundant objects, remnants of the past, my aim is to create an engaging and vivid world. A world of sentiment and imperfection."
